The gamma-Catenin Antibody (CAB0963) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This gene encodes a major cytoplasmic protein which is the only known constituent common to submembranous plaques of both desmosomes and intermediate junctions. This protein forms distinct complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and is a member of the catenin family since it contains a distinct repeating amino acid motif called the armadillo repeat. Mutation in this gene has been associated with Naxos disease. Alternative splicing occurs in this gene; however, not all transcripts have been fully described.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IP, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

Immunoprecipitation analysis of 200 μg extracts of MCF-7 cells, using 3 μg γ-Catenin antibody (CAB0963). Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using γ-Catenin antibody (CAB0963) at a dilution of 1:1000.
