The LRRK2 Antibody (CAB0859) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly sensitive and specific for detecting LRRK2 in human samples, making it valuable for research in neuroscience and neurology.LRRK2 is a multi-domain protein that plays a role in various cellular processes, including cell survival, autophagy, and inflammation. Dysregulation of LRRK2 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease, making it a promising therapeutic target.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene is a member of the leucine-rich repeat kinase family and encodes a protein with an ankryin repeat region, a leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domain, a kinase domain, a DFG-like motif, a RAS domain, a GTPase domain, a MLK-like domain, and a WD40 domain. The protein is present largely in the cytoplasm but also associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Parkinson disease-8.
