The MGLL Antibody (CAB6654) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity towards human samples, making it ideal for Western blot applications.MGLL, also known as monoacylglycerol lipase, plays a crucial role in the hydrolysis of monoacylglycerols, which are important intermediates in lipid metabolism. Dysregulation of MGLL has been linked to various diseases such as cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic syndromes, making it a promising target for therapeutic intervention.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IHC-P, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a serine hydrolase of the AB hydrolase superfamily that catalyzes the conversion of monoacylglycerides to free fatty acids and glycerol. The encoded protein plays a critical role in several physiological processes including pain and nociperception through hydrolysis of the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol. Expression of this gene may play a role in cancer tumorigenesis and metastasis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
