The Mouse VEGFR-2 (KDR) / Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 ELISA Kit is a highly specialized tool for the accurate quantification of VEGFR-2 levels in mouse samples including serum, plasma, and tissue lysates. With exceptional sensitivity and specificity, this kit delivers precise and reliable results, making it a valuable asset for a wide range of experimental studies.VEGFR-2, also known as kinase insert domain receptor (KDR), is a key receptor involved in mediating vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) signaling pathways, crucial for angiogenesis and vascular development. Understanding the role of VEGFR-2 in various biological processes and diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and inflammatory conditions, is essential for advancing research and therapeutic interventions. This ELISA kit provides researchers with a powerful tool to investigate the expression and function of VEGFR-2 in mouse models, offering valuable insights for innovative research and potential therapeutic strategies.
This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
