The NKX2-5 Antibody (CAB5651) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, has high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications.NKX2-5 is a transcription factor that is essential for proper heart development and function. Mutations in the NKX2-5 gene have been linked to congenital heart defects and other cardiac abnormalities, making it an important target for research in cardiology and developmental biology.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a homeobox-containing transcription factor. This transcription factor functions in heart formation and development. Mutations in this gene cause atrial septal defect with atrioventricular conduction defect, and also tetralogy of Fallot, which are both heart malformation diseases. Mutations in this gene can also cause congenital hypothyroidism non-goitrous type 5, a non-autoimmune condition. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
