The Phospho-Myosin Light Chain 2-T18 Monoclonal Antibody (CABP1439) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. Myosin, a structural component of muscle, consists of two heavy chains and four light chains. The protein encoded by this gene is a myosin light chain that may regulate muscle contraction by modulating the ATPase activity of myosin heads. The encoded protein binds calcium and is activated by myosin light chain kinase. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

Western blot analysis of lysates from HeLa cells, using Phospho-Myosin Light Chain 2-T18 Rabbit mAb (CABP1439) at 1:1000 dilution. HeLa cells were treated with Calyculin A (100 nM) at 37℃ for 30 minutes after serum-starvation overnight. Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (AS014) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit (AbGn00021). Exposure time: 90s.
