The PROP1 Antibody (CAB16963) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. Raised in rabbits, this antibody is highly specific to human samples and is suitable for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the PROP1 protein, researchers can effectively detect and analyze its expression in various cell types, making this antibody ideal for studies in endocrinology and developmental biology. The PROP1 protein is a critical regulator of pituitary gland development and hormone production, making it a key player in the endocrine system.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Mouse samples.

This gene encodes a paired-like homeodomain transcription factor in the developing pituitary gland. Expression occurs prior to and is required for expression of pou domain transcription factor 1, which is responsible for pituitary development and hormone expression. Mutations in this gene have been associated with combined pituitary hormone deficiency-2 as well as deficiencies in luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, growth hormone, prolactin, and thyroid-stimulating hormone.
