The Rad51D Antibody (CAB7534) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, shows high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By specifically binding to the RAD51D protein, it enables precise detection and analysis in a variety of cell types, making it well-suited for investigations in the fields of genetics, oncology, and molecular biology.RAD51D is a crucial component of the homologous recombination pathway, playing a key role in repairing DNA double-strand breaks and maintaining genomic integrity. Dysregulation of RAD51D has been linked to various genetic disorders and cancer development, highlighting its importance in cellular function.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human samples.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the RAD51 protein family. RAD51 family members are highly similar to bacterial RecA and Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rad51, which are known to be involved in the homologous recombination and repair of DNA. This protein forms a complex with several other members of the RAD51 family, including RAD51L1, RAD51L2, and XRCC2. The protein complex formed with this protein has been shown to catalyze homologous pairing between single- and double-stranded DNA, and is thought to play a role in the early stage of recombinational repair of DNA. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Read-through transcription also exists between this gene and the downstream ring finger and FYVE-like domain containing 1 (RFFL) gene.
