The RPL11 Antibody (CAB6407) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, generated in rabbits, is highly specific to human RPL11 and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the RPL11 protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of RPL11 levels in various cell types, making it an essential component in studies focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying protein synthesis and ribosome function.RPL11 is known to play a crucial role in regulating cell growth, proliferation, and apoptosis, making it a promising target for research in cancer biology and other cellular processes.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. This gene encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L5P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. The protein probably associates with the 5S rRNA. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. As is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome.
