The 14-3-3 Theta Monoclonal Antibody (CAB8936) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, developed from rabbit monoclonal sources, demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity in detecting human samples through Western blot analysis. The 14-3-3 Theta protein plays a significant role in cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and intracellular signaling pathways. Dysregulation of this protein has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic syndromes. By targeting the 14-3-3 Theta protein with this antibody, researchers can gain insight into its functions and mechanisms in different cell types, aiding in further studies in molecular biology and disease pathology.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 99% identical to the mouse and rat orthologs. This gene is upregulated in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It contains in its 5' UTR a 6 bp tandem repeat sequence which is polymorphic, however, there is no correlation between the repeat number and the disease.
