The CaMKII Monoclonal Antibody (CAB0186) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. The product of this gene belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family and to the Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily. Calcium signaling is crucial for several aspects of plasticity at glutamatergic synapses. In mammalian cells, the enzyme is composed of four different chains: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. The product of this gene is a beta chain. It is possible that distinct isoforms of this chain have different cellular localizations and interact differently with calmodulin. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. RRID AB_2861456 Gene ID 817 818 Swiss Prot Synonym CAM2; CAMK2; CAMKB; MRD54; CaMKIIbeta; CaMK2 delta/CAMK2 gamma
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IP, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

Western blot analysis of various lysates using CaMK2 delta/CAMK2 gamma Rabbit mAb (CAB0186) at 1:11000 dilution incubated overnight at 4℃. Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (AS014) at 1:10000 dilution. Lysates/proteins: 25 μg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit (AbGn00020). Exposure time: 90s.
Immunoprecipitation of CaMK2 delta/CAMK2 gamma from 300 µg extracts of 293T cells was performed using 2 µg of CaMK2 delta/CAMK2 gamma Rabbit mAb (CAB0186). Rabbit IgG isotype control (AC005) was used to precipitate the Control IgG sample. IP samples were eluted with 1X reducing Laemmli Buffer. The Input lane represents 10% of the total input. Western blot analysis of immunoprecipitates was conducted using CaMK2 delta/CAMK2 gamma Rabbit mAb (CAB0186) at a dilution of 1:10000.
