The CK14 Polyclonal Antibody (CAB24481) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This antibody, produced in rabbits, is highly specific and reactive with human samples, making it ideal for use in various immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence applications. By targeting the CK14 protein, researchers can accurately detect and analyze CK14 expression in different cell types, aiding in studies related to epithelial biology, cancer research, and stem cell characterization.CK14 is a key biomarker in identifying and studying different types of epithelial cells, helping researchers understand the role of these cells in tissue development and maintenance.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, IF/ICC, ELISA, IF-P applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the keratin family, the most diverse group of intermediate filaments. This gene product, a type I keratin, is usually found as a heterotetramer with two keratin 5 molecules, a type II keratin. Together they form the cytoskeleton of epithelial cells. Mutations in the genes for these keratins are associated with epidermolysis bullosa simplex. At least one pseudogene has been identified at 17p12-p11.
