Human TIMP-3 (Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinase 3) ELISA Kit
The Human TIMP-3 (Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinase-3) ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the accurate quantification of TIMP-3 levels in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. With its high sensitivity and specificity, this kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it suitable for a wide range of research applications.TIMP-3 is a critical protein that plays a key role in regulating the activity of metalloproteinases, enzymes involved in extracellular matrix degradation. Dysregulation of TIMP-3 has been implicated in various disease states, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammation. Therefore, the measurement of TIMP-3 levels can serve as a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapeutic strategies.By using the Human TIMP-3 ELISA Kit, researchers can better understand the role of TIMP-3 in disease pathology and explore its potential as a target for treatment interventions. With its high-performance features, this kit offers a reliable tool for advancing research in the field of metalloproteinase regulation and associated diseases.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
