The Mouse IL-12 p40 ELISA Kit is specifically designed for the quantitative measurement of interleukin-12 (IL-12) p40 levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. This kit offers outstanding sensitivity and accuracy, ensuring precise and consistent results for a variety of research purposes.IL-12 is a key cytokine that plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses, particularly in the coordination of T-helper cell differentiation and activation. Dysregulation of IL-12 has been implicated in various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential therapeutic interventions. With its excellent performance and reliability, the Mouse IL-12 p40 ELISA Kit is an essential tool for researchers looking to investigate the role of IL-12 in immune responses and inflammatory disorders in mouse models.

This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target protein is then added, followed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well, resulting in a color change. Only wells containing the target protein, detection antibody, and HRP conjugate will develop a blue color. The reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution, resulting in a yellow color. The optical density (OD) is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample and is determined using a standard curve.
