The Phospho-KAP1/TRIM28-S824 Monoclonal Antibody (CABP1393) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This post-translational modification of the protein is involved in various cellular processes, including DNA damage response and gene silencing.Raised in mice, this antibody shows high specificity for human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot and immunofluorescence applications. It specifically recognizes the phosphorylated form of KAP1/TRIM28 at serine 824, allowing for precise detection and analysis in different cell types. The phosphorylation of KAP1/TRIM28 at serine 824 has been linked to the regulation of chromatin structure and gene expression, making it a key player in gene regulation and cell signaling pathways.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse samples.

The protein encoded by this gene mediates transcriptional control by interaction with the Kruppel-associated box repression domain found in many transcription factors. The protein localizes to the nucleus and is thought to associate with specific chromatin regions. The protein is a member of the tripartite motif family. This tripartite motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region.
