The PP2A-B56delta/PR61delta/PPP2R5E Polyclonal Antibody (CAB19333) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. PPP2R5E (PP2A-B56ε) is a regulatory subunit of Protein Phosphatase 2A (PP2A), one of the four major serine/threonine phosphatases implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It belongs to the B56 subfamily and modulates the substrate selectivity and catalytic activity of the PP2A holoenzyme by associating with its core catalytic and regulatory subunits. Dysregulation of PP2A signaling has been linked to tumorigenesis and various cellular dysfunctions, making this regulatory subunit of significant interest in cancer and cell cycle research.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the phosphatase 2A regulatory subunit B family. Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The B regulatory subunit might modulate substrate selectivity and catalytic activity. This gene encodes an epsilon isoform of the regulatory subunit B56 subfamily. Multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms have been found for this gene.
