Are you a PhD scientist looking to maximize your transferable skills to build a great career in a commercial role?

Assay Genie is seeking a highly motivated, full-time, Scientific Applications Sales Specialist to help build a truly global life science brand. Based in the Dublin office, you will work at a senior level, developing strong relationships in the life science research market to grow new business. As part of the senior management team, you will work closely with our CEO & CSO to support the strategic development and delivery of the annual sales plan.

• Developing high-level scientific relationships with key opinion leaders
• Understanding & selling the full product portfolio in-line with company strategy
• Implementing commercial strategies as part of the senior management team
• Achieving monthly commercial sales targets
• Iidentifying, developing, and closing sales by prospecting and activity
• Managing the sales process using emails, phone calls and other communication channels
• Ensuring the successful implementation of sales & marketing strategy
• Actively prospecting for new leads using in-house digital tools
• Maintaining technical knowledge through courses and in-house product training
• Following Assay Genie procedures and policies

• A PhD mindset with an excellent track record in scientific research
• A willingness to build a new career in a commercial role
• A high degree of customer service orientation & excellent communication skills
• The ability to work in a SME company (fast paced, ability to get stuck in, problemsolver)
• A positive attitude about company and marketplace

• €50,000 Base Salary
• €10,000 On Target Earnings (OTE)
• Uncapped commission

• PhD in a Life Science discipline is required
