The 15-PGDH/HPGD Antibody (CAB6926) is a high-quality antibody developed for reliable detection and analysis of target proteins. This enzyme plays a crucial role in prostaglandin metabolism, particularly in the degradation of prostaglandin E2, a key mediator of inflammation.Raised in rabbits, this antibody exhibits high reactivity with human samples and has been validated for use in Western blot applications. By binding to the HPGD protein, this antibody allows for the detection and analysis of HPGD expression in various cell types. Its specificity and sensitivity make it ideal for studies in immunology, inflammation, and cancer research.
This antibody is validated for use in WB, ELISA applications and has demonstrated reactivity against Human, Mouse, Rat samples.

This gene encodes a member of the short-chain nonmetalloenzyme alcohol dehydrogenase protein family. The encoded enzyme is responsible for the metabolism of prostaglandins, which function in a variety of physiologic and cellular processes such as inflammation. Mutations in this gene result in primary autosomal recessive hypertrophic osteoarthropathy and cranioosteoarthropathy. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
