The Mouse NT-proBNP (N-Terminal Pro-brain Natriuretic Peptide) CLIA Kit is a highly sensitive and specific assay designed for the quantification of NT-proBNP levels in mouse serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. This kit provides reliable and reproducible results, making it ideal for various research applications related to cardiovascular health and disease.NT-proBNP is a biomarker that is commonly used in the diagnosis and prognosis of heart failure, as elevated levels are indicative of cardiac stress and dysfunction. Monitoring NT-proBNP levels can help researchers better understand the progression of heart disease and evaluate the effectiveness of potential interventions. With its high performance and accuracy, the Mouse NT-proBNP CLIA Kit is essential for studying cardiovascular conditions in mouse models and developing new therapeutic strategies to improve heart health.
This kit uses a sandwich chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) principle. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target protein. Standards or samples are added to the wells and bind to the immobilized antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody is then added, followed by HRP-conjugated streptavidin to form a sandwich complex. After washing to remove unbound components, a chemiluminescent substrate is added. The HRP enzyme catalyzes a light-emitting reaction. The intensity of the emitted light is directly proportional to the concentration of the target protein in the sample. The signal is measured using a luminometer, and the concentration of the analyte is calculated based on a standard curve.
