Multiplex ELISA panels: measure many analytes in one sample

Bead-based multiplex immunoassays that quantify multiple cytokines, chemokines and biomarkers from a single small sample on a standard flow cytometer — in two technologies: GeniePlex and GeniePlex MagPro magnetic-bead panels.

GeniePlex

Size- and fluorescence-coded beads quantify up to 24 analytes from as little as 15 µL of sample on any 488 nm flow cytometer, in about 4 hours.

How it works

A bead-based sandwich immunoassay

1

Capture

Coded beads, each carrying a capture antibody, bind their target analytes from the sample.

2

Detect

A biotinylated detection antibody completes each sandwich.

3

Read

Streptavidin-PE reports each analyte; the cytometer identifies every bead population.

FAQs

Multiplex ELISA Panels FAQs

How is a multiplex immunoassay different from an ELISA?

An ELISA measures one analyte per well. A bead-based multiplex assay measures many analytes from the same sample at once, because each analyte is captured on its own coded bead population — saving sample, time and plates.

Which instrument do I need?

A standard flow cytometer; the required lasers and detection channels are listed on each kit datasheet.

What sample types can I use?

Panels are typically used with serum, plasma and cell-culture supernatant. The validated sample types and dilutions for each panel are on its datasheet.

Can you build a custom panel?

Yes — contact our team with your analytes and species and we will help design a custom multiplex panel.
