What is the difference between monoclonal, polyclonal and recombinant antibodies?
Monoclonals recognise a single epitope and offer high consistency and a renewable supply. Polyclonals recognise multiple epitopes, giving strong signal and tolerance to minor antigen changes. Recombinant antibodies are defined by a known sequence, delivering excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility and scalable expression.
