Multiplex ELISA
Measure up to 24 cytokines and biomarkers from a single 15 µL sample. GeniePlex bead-based multiplex immunoassays run on any flow cytometer with a 488 nm laser, so there is no dedicated analyser to buy. Choose ready-made cytokine, inflammation, CAR-T and metabolic panels for human, mouse, rat and non-human primate samples, or build a custom panel.
Each analyte has its own antibody-coated bead population, identified by fluorescence. Beads capture their targets from the sample, a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-PE add a reporter signal, and a flow cytometer reads bead identity and signal together to quantify every analyte in the same well.
Any flow cytometer with a 488 nm laser, a plate shaker and a way to wash beads, such as the GeniePlex filter plate washer. Panels are validated for serum, plasma, cell-culture supernatant, body fluids and tissue or cell lysates; each datasheet lists recovery, CV and cross-reactivity.
Choose multiplex when sample is scarce or you need a cytokine profile. Choose a singleplex ELISA kit when you need one analyte at the highest sensitivity or across many samples cheaply. For discovery screens of hundreds of proteins, see antibody arrays.
