Colorimetric, fluorometric or luminescent?
Colorimetric kits need only an absorbance plate reader and suit routine measurements. Fluorometric kits are typically more sensitive and suit low-abundance targets or small samples. Luminescent assays, such as ATP and luciferase reporter kits, give the widest dynamic range. The detection method and instrument are listed on each datasheet.
Sample types
Kits are validated for combinations of cultured cells, cell and tissue lysates, serum, plasma and urine. Check the datasheet for your sample type and the recommended preparation before you order.
